Talking Dance

VALÉRIE CASTAN & DIANE BLONDEAU

France

Talking dance is a succession of short choreographic and sound plays made out of a reading voice, an electronic music and a recording in the field. Each sound play is a short fictional choreographic situation without any dialogues. Place, lights, characters... are described in a factual way. The scene takes place outside the theatrical space area : beach, sand dune, forest... People meet and gather up: a walk, a run, a fall, a jump, a turn, immobility... so many choreographic actions, gestures, impulses of individuals in motion, to listen, to imagine.
