Floe

JEAN-BAPTISTE ANDRÉ

France

IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LE FOURNEAU

Floe brings face to face, in a pure way without any artifice, a body and a space. A man finds himself in front of a landform which he needs to cross for his own salvation.
The exploration of this terra incognita reveals the poetic aspect of the action alone. We follow the journey of a man who appears and disappears depending on the asperity of the sculpture, who falls, climbs, waits, hangs up, slides, falls again, gets up, gets started again in row of actions and physical constraints (height, gravity, resistance) to play with and escape.
